FAQ

Paperclip 1
  • Will there be a performance on the last day of class? Do I need to prepare anything for my child's performance?
Yes, each class culminates in a final performance showcasing what the students have been working on together. Wizard of Oz and Wizard of Oz for Munchkins will present a short, age-appropriate play for family and friends to enjoy. Fairy Tale Fun will present a recital featuring selected games, exercises and story segments that the kids have enjoyed putting together. More details will be provided the week of the camp as to what you can prepare for your child's performance, but here's a snapshot of what you can expect: The materials fee (already included in the price of the camp) helps to pay for things like costumes, props, and other items that help support the final performance. We may ask if you can dress your child in a certain color or type of clothing if possible, but none of this is mandatory. We want you and your child's experience to be fun and stress-free!
  • My child is younger or older than the age range for the camp we want. Can we still register?
Each camp experience is designed with lessons that are developmentally appropriate for the age-ranges in the description. With that in mind, it is best to register your child based on their age/grade level. If you have specific questions about any of of our camps, please reach out and let us know. Grade levels are based on the grade your child will be ENTERING at the start of the coming school-year. For example, if your child is entering 4th grade after the summer, he or she would be eligible for the 4th-8th grade camp.
  • Is the registration cost the same for each camp? What does it include?
The registration cost is the same for each camp: $100 for the classes with a $20 materials fee. Materials include things like props, costume pieces, scripts (where applicable), and more.
  • What if my child doesn't have past theatre/drama experience?
No problem! All of our classes our designed for kids with any experience level. As long as your child is willing to have fun, imagine new worlds and explore collaboratively with others, they will be a good fit for our summer classes.
  • Will the camp be providing snacks? Should I pack my own?
While we do not provide snacks at our theatre camps, we encourage you to pack a light, peanut-free snack for your camper to enjoy during one of their break times. Campers are welcome to bring a juice box or water bottle as well to stay hydrated. If you have any questions about this, please let us know.
  • What if I can't afford the camp? Do you provide any discounts?
If you are not able to afford the full registration fee, please reach out to us, and we'll see if there's anything we can do. Additionally, we offer discounts for families registering multiple children at once! If you are a family registering two of your kids, use code 2KIDS at checkout for $20 off! If you are registering three of your kids (or more) at once, use code 3KIDS at checkout and save $60!
